Before your first appointment, it's helpful to send any previous reports or information regarding the participant's additional supports. Please also be sure to provide details if you are claiming a rebate from Medicare (CDM plan), Private Health Insurance or NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed). Background information and understanding of the goals of the individual will be discussed. Rapport building is key to ensuring we build a connection with the individual, so they're feeling comfortable. If appropriate and required, direct or indirect assessment tasks may be completed.
